What is the difference between HiNote and HiNote Life?

HiNote is our nutrition brand — home to the Everyday Energy Daily Nutrition Drink Mix.

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 is our fitness app, where you can access workouts inspired by Carrie Underwood, a food journal, and a community of 500,000+ members.

Together, they're designed to support your full wellness journey — what you eat and how you move.

Who are the medical advisors behind HiNote?

HiNote was formulated with the guidance of three world-class experts: Dr. Holly R. Wyatt, MD (Board-Certified Endocrinologist and Professor of Nutrition Sciences at UAB), Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly, MD (double board-certified internist and integrative medicine physician), and Dr. Josh Anthony, PhD (Nutrition Science & Physiology). Their expertise guided every ingredient decision and dosage in the formula.

What is HiNote Life?

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 is a community-powered fitness platform that makes it easy for you to find your Path to a stronger, healthier you, 52 weeks of the year. Inspired by Carrie Underwood's passion for an active lifestyle, HiNote Life follows her fitness routines to help nourish your mind, body, and soul to achieve your personal wellness goals.

Starting with a virtual deck of playing cards, each card reveals an exercise and number of reps, providing a fun, full-body workout that can be completed in as little as 20 mins! What is clear whey protein, and how is it different from regular protein powder?

Clear whey is a whey protein isolate that has gone through an ultra-filtration process, which lowers its viscosity and creates a lighter, more transparent base. Unlike traditional protein shakes that can feel thick or chalky, clear whey mixes into a refreshingly light, juice-like drink. It delivers the same high-quality protein and muscle recovery benefits as conventional whey — just in a format that's smoother, more refreshing, and a lot easier to enjoy every day.

Why does my drink mix foam when I shake it?

That's totally normal with clear whey! After shaking, let your drink sit for about 30 seconds for the foam to settle, then enjoy. Mixing with a shaker bottle, frother, or blender (rather than a spoon) gives you the best results. We recommend adding ice after mixing for the best sipping experience.

Why does my powder look clumpy or settled?

This can happen naturally when the powder settles and compresses during shipping. Just give the closed container or bag a good shake to loosen everything up before scooping. This also helps ensure a more accurate serving size and a better mixing experience.

How do I prepare a HiNote Everyday Energy drink?

Pour one scoop of powder into your shaker and shake well. Let the foam settle for 30 seconds, add ice, and enjoy! If you don’t have a shaker, you can use a frother or a blender to make sure it’s mixed very well. We do not recommend simply stirring it with a spoon.

Can I mix HiNote with something other than water?

We recommend mixing with 16–20 oz of cold water for the best flavor and texture. Some people enjoy it with coconut water for a little extra electrolyte boost. We don't recommend mixing with milk or juice, as the acidity in clear whey protein can interact with dairy proteins and affect the texture.

Can I use HiNote in recipes, not just as a drink?

Absolutely! Clear whey protein is a great base for more than just a shake. Try it in popsicles, protein ice cubes, or a light sorbet. Because it's clear and light in flavor, it plays well with other ingredients without overpowering them. Check out our Grace & Grit Blog for recipe ideas!

Is HiNote Everyday Energy a meal replacement?

HiNote is designed as a daily nutrition drink to complement your meals — not replace them. Think of it as your foundation layer: the protein, fiber, fruits, veggies, and vitamins that are easy to miss in a busy day. We recommend pairing it with a balanced meal or snack for best results.

Does HiNote contain any artificial flavors, colors, or fillers?

Never. HiNote Everyday Energy is made without artificial flavors, artificial ingredients, or fillers. The color in each flavor comes from fruit and vegetable juices, and the sweetness comes from stevia — a zero-calorie, zero-glycemic natural sweetener.

Does HiNote Everyday Energy contain milk?

This product contains whey, which is a dairy-based ingredient.

Does HiNote Everyday Energy contain sweeteners or other sugars?

Our drink mix does not contain sugar. We use stevia extract to give our products a slight sweetness with zero calories added.

What are the ingredients in the product?

Is HiNote gluten-free?

HiNote Everyday Energy does not contain any gluten-derived ingredients. However, if you have celiac disease or a severe gluten sensitivity, please consult your healthcare provider before use, as we cannot guarantee a fully gluten-free manufacturing environment.

Is HiNote vegan?

HiNote Everyday Energy is not vegan. It contains whey protein (dairy-derived) and bovine collagen peptides. It is not suitable for those following a vegan or dairy-free diet.

Is HiNote suitable for people with lactose intolerance?

HiNote contains whey protein isolate, which has most of the lactose removed during processing. Many people with mild lactose sensitivity tolerate whey isolate well. That said, if you have a more severe intolerance or dairy allergy, we recommend consulting your doctor before use.

How should I store HiNote Everyday Energy?

Store your HiNote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, and keep the lid tightly sealed between uses.

Can men use HiNote Everyday Energy?

Of course! While HiNote was created with women in mind, the nutritional benefits — protein, fiber, B vitamins, fruits and vegetables — are great for anyone looking to support their energy and daily nutrition.

Can I use HiNote while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We always recommend consulting with your OB-GYN or healthcare provider before adding any new product to your routine while pregnant or breastfeeding.

How old do you need to be to use HiNote?

HiNote Everyday Energy is intended for adults 18 and older.

Where is HiNote drink mix manufactured?

HiNote Everyday Energy drink mix is manufactured in the United States with some ingredients that are sourced internationally.

Is HiNote Everyday Energy third-party tested?

HiNote’s products are rigorously tested to meet the highest standards for safety and quality. Each drink mix is verified to meet specifications for identity, purity, strength and composition, so you feel confident that what’s on the label is what’s in the product. In addition, all of our products are made in certified GMP facilities (Good Manufacturing Practices) that adhere to FDA standards and best practices.

How does HiNote source ingredients for its products?

The ingredients for our HiNote drink mix are sourced from heavily vetted partners who we trust to deliver on our high standards for nutrient density, quality, and flavor.

Orders & Shipping

How soon will I receive my HiNote order?

It typically takes 1–2 business days to process your order, and up to 8 business days to arrive once it's on its way. You'll receive a tracking number via email as soon as it ships, so you can follow your order right to your door.

Does HiNote ship to PO Boxes?

At this time, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Please use a home or business address at checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. If you haven't received tracking information within 3 business days of placing your order, please reach out to us at hi@hinote.com.

Do you ship outside of the US?

Right now, we are shipping only to US locations, but send us an email at hi@hinote.com and tell us where you’d like us to offer shipping to next!

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We start processing orders quickly, so we can't guarantee changes or cancellations once an order is placed. If you need to make a change, please contact us immediately at hi@hinote.com and we'll do our best to help. If your order has already been fulfilled, we can assist you through our return process.

Returns / Refunds

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?

We stand behind our product 100%. If you're not completely satisfied within 30 days of receiving your order, we'll make it right. Please reach out to us at hi@hinote.com with your order number and we'll walk you through the process. No complicated hoops — we just want you to feel good about every sip.

What qualifies for a refund?

We're happy to refund one opened unit per order if the product isn't the right fit for you — no need to send it back. If all items in your order are fully sealed and in their original condition, you may also request a full return within 30 days of delivery.

Are there any exclusions to the return/refund policy?

The following are excluded from our return and refund policy: items purchased outside of hinote.com (including third-party retailers), sale or promotional items, and original shipping costs. Refund and return requests can only be submitted once per customer.

What is HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 workout?

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 workouts are based on Carrie Underwood’s real-world workouts. With workouts that are in the range of 13, 25, or 52 cards, there's a workout appropriate for every fitness level and time constraint. 

Each card in the deck contains a Suit and a Number. The Number represents the number of repetitions to complete and the Suit represents a different exercise group (Spades - Cardio, Hearts - Lower Body, Clubs - Core, Diamonds- Upper Body). The cards are shuffled so each workout is random and unique.

You can either do individual workouts or join a Path that has series of workouts to complete in a given week.

What is a Path?

Paths are workout programs tailored to your fitness goals, schedule and fitness level. You can stay on the same Path each week or try others, including Carrie’s Path

How do I choose a Path?

Depending on your responses during the sign-up process, you will given and added to your Recommended Path. We create a Path tailored perfectly to the day of the week and number of days you wish to work out in a week.

Outside of the sign-up process, you can also explore other Paths and join them at any time by clicking the Explore tab. You are free to choose between Paths of varying difficulty, workout durations, and workout frequencies. 

Can I change my Path?

Of course! All you have to do is visit the Explore tab and choose a Path that works for your schedule and comfort. Here, you can check out all available Paths which are conveniently grouped by Number of workouts per week or Fitness Level. We want you to pick what is best for you. We know some weeks get busy so you may need to reduce the number of workouts you’ve committed to. 

If you do not wish to leave your current Path, we also offer Full, Half, and Flash Fit workouts that can supplement your Path workouts.

What equipment do I need for the workouts?

To start, you only need yourself and HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 but it’s always good to have a yoga mat to make those floor-based and jumping exercises a little more comfortable.

Prior to your first workout, you will be prompted to choose the equipment you have on hand. HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 currently has exercises that include Dumbbells, Kettlebell, Benches, Step Bench, Resistance Bands, Stability Balls, Minibands and Gliders, soon! If you gain access to new equipment later on in your HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 journey, you can adjust your Equipment Settings in your Profile. If you need a little more pep in your workout, include equipment into your workout routine! 

Still wanting more? You can increase the weight of your dumbbells. Make these workouts work for you!

Where can I do the workouts?

Anywhere you can find a little space and you have the ability to jump. Home, gym, park… it’s your choice! This is the best part of HiNote Life - Powered by fit52, you have the luxury of doing a workout anytime, anywhere.

Who are the experts helping build the fitness routines and Paths?

All exercises and Paths were designed with the help of Carrie Underwood’s longtime personal trainer, Eve Overland.

Does Carrie really use this app?

You bet she does! The cards and workouts come directly from the need for something quick and fun, wherever she was at the time. Having it in an app has made it even easier to get those workouts in, plus it allows her to share her workouts with you!

Is this app for fitness beginners or experts?

YES! HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 prides itself on having all levels of workouts. The app is designed to ease a beginner into their newfound health journey (congratulations!) or a sweat-inducing, muscle toning challenge for the seasoned fitness veterans.

When can I expect to see fitness results?

Everyone is different. We recommend doing the HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 workouts along with a proper diet to see the best results. Health goals are all dependent on the individual and can result in different outcomes.

Important Health Information

You should consult your physician or other health care professional before using this or any other fitness apps to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of heart disease or high blood pressure, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not use this fitness app if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising and/or using this app, you should stop immediately and consult your physician.

How to integrate MyFitnessPal with HiNote Life - Powered by fit52?

Please follow these steps. Note this integration is only supported on iOS, not Android.

MyFitnessPal

  • Download MyFitnessPal from the Apple App Store.
  • Open MyFitnessPal and create an account.
  • Navigate to Settings using the three dots near the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  • Scroll down to Apps and Devices.
  • Find and tap on the Health App (search for the Health App or scroll down until you find it in the list).
  • On the next page, tap Settings. At this point the Health App should open up (If Health App Settings pops-up from the bottom of the screen, follow the instructions given to allow the transfer of data from MyFitnessPal to the Health App).

Apple’s Health App

  • Open Health App. Navigate to your profile icon located at the top-right corner of the screen to open Settings.
  • Scroll down to Apps (located under Privacy).
  • Tap MyFitnessPal.
  • Turn All categories on or select which data you would like to track.
  • Now all your (selected) data is being tracked through the Health App.

  • Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
  • Select Health

  • Ensure all integrations are on and active as shown below. If having issues reading data into HiNote Life - Powered by fit52, please turn off and then on these integrations. 
How do I integrate Fitbit with HiNote Life - Powered by fit52?

The HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 app syncs directly with Apple Health, and unfortunately at present Fitbit does not offer a direct integration with Apple Health.

There are some third-party apps available in the App Store that will allow you to sync Fitbit with Apple Health.

If you are connected with Apple Health, you can sync your data with HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 following these steps:

  1. Open HiNote Life - Powered by fit52. Navigate to Profile (located bottom-right corner of the screen).
  2. Tap Settings (Gear icon located top-right corner of the screen).
  3. Tap Integrations.
  4. Turn on Apple Health.
Does HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 work for all body types?

Of course! Whether your an ectomorph, mesomorph or endomorph, your body type would benefit from having any one of the exercise groupings that HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 provides.

The workout groupings are based on Core (clubs), Upper Body (diamonds), Lower body (hearts) and Cardio (spades) exercises which are the building blocks of working out for all body types. We now have Flash Fit workouts - workouts that allow you to take control of the grouping you would like to work on. If you are looking to take it easy or do not have enough time for a Full workout, we also have the 13 Card Draw workout that is only comprised of 13 cards. Not as long as a Full or Half workout, but still the same intensity.

Everyone's goals and bodies are different and may not fit into a certain "type". This is why we always suggest using the 7-day free trial to see if HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 is the right app for you to keep you motivated and coming back for more. 

How do I sync Apple Health with HiNote Life - Powered by fit52?

If you opted out of Apple Health during set up on HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 or if your data is not showing up on Apple Health and/or in other health apps, you may have to turn on HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 in the settings on your iPhone. 

Follow these steps to integrate HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 with Apple Health:

  1. Open Settings on your phone 
  2. Scroll down and press Apple Health 
  3. Press Data Access & Devices
  4. Press HiNote Life - Powered by fit52
  5. Press Turn All Categories On 

Your information should start showing up on your next workout. 

What do all the numbers in the Profile tab mean?

These statistics are tracking everything you accomplished in the current week. You can move back and forth between weeks using the `<` and `>` arrows respectively. These statistics include:

  • How many days you worked out
  • The number of exercises you completed
  • The total time spent working out
  • The number of sessions you completed
  • Your most common exercise
  • Number of reps completed
  • Your Apple Health information (if applicable—stepsenergy burned, and energy consumed)

Google Fit information for Android Users will be added in a future update.

Who sees photos shared with my Path feed?

Users of HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 will see the photos you post. We encourage you to share since we are celebrating fitness as a community and supporting each other’s goals for a healthier Path. You can delete your posts at any time.

Optionally, you are also able to share your post-workout photos to various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Can I watch the workouts on a TV?

You can stream your HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 experience on your TV via screen mirroring on an Apple device or Android device. There are many such apps that can help you achieve this on the App Store or Play Store respectively.


MIRRORING WITH ROKU (iOS)

With a Roku device, the mirroring process is made simple. You can display anything, including your HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 workout, from your iOS device(s) to your TV. To begin, please complete the following steps:

Before you begin set-up, please ensure you have a Roku device with at least OS 9.4 and your iOS device supports AirPlay.

  1. Connect your iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device.

  2. On your iOS device, access the Control Center and press Screen mirroring to begin.

  3. Select your Roku device.

  4. On your TV, a code will appear. Input this code on your iOS device, press OK, and you should now be connected.


To stop mirroring, simply repeat Step 2 from above and press Stop Mirroring.

Can I connect the app to my Apple watch?

While we don't have direct Apple Watch integration at the moment, keep an eye out! We are always working on new features and this includes the Apple Watch. We will have something soon in a future release.

Can I play music during the workouts?

Yes, you can definitely listen to your music while working out. You have two options.

  1. You can open your music app then open HiNote Life - Powered by fit52, or,
  2. Select your own music via the Personalize menu

If you do not hear anything, first ensure your volume level is not all the way down and also Silent mode is disabled.

You can adjust your music at the beginning of your workout before you click start. During your workout, you will only be able to pause and switch songs.

How do I turn the workout reminders off?

Workout Reminders are push notifications you receive when it's time to workout. 

To turn off Workout Reminders, Go to Profile, SettingsUser Profile, then toggle Workout Reminders off.

How much storage will HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 use?

Exercise videos are downloaded when you start your workout and are stored within the app. You can chose to download all exercises videos at once by following the steps below.

  1. Open HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 > Profile 
  2. Tap Settings up top right
  3. Select Workout Settings 
  4. Then Tap 'Download All Exercise Videos'

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 uses approximately 220MB of storage. 

How can I report an issue or ask a question?

To make things easier to report problems or give feedback, we have provided a Shake and Report feature within the app. Whenever you have an issue or want to let us know what you like or dislike, shake your phone and tell us what’s happening. You can report a bug, suggest an improvement or ask a question. 

You can also report issues or give feedback by heading to Settings > Help & Support > Send Feedback.

How do I turn audio prompts on and off? Music?

If you do not hear anything, first ensure your volume level is not all the way down and also Silent mode is disabled.

You can adjust your Exercise Audio Prompts and music at the beginning of your workout before you click start. During your workout, you will only be able to adjust your music.

From here, you can toggle the Exercise Audio Prompts option and also choose if you would like music playback during your workout.

Why did my Activity Goal reset?

Your activity goal to show your weekly progress. A new week begins every Sunday morning. If you have 4 out of 5 activities done for the week on Saturday night, you'll see 0 out of 5 completed for the following week on Sunday morning.

How much data will HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 use?

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 requires a constant connection to the internet to function which means you will need Wi-Fi or a data plan. The app itself takes up a little more than 200MB of storage and may increase depending on your rate of posting.  In order to save on data, you can set your phone to only update and post workout progress when attached to Wi-Fi.

What workout level should I start at?

There are three levels for your workout: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. If you would like to increase the difficult of your workouts, feel free to add workout equipment to your workouts (via Equipment Settings) or, if you already do, increase the weight / resistance!

Beginner

Beginner workouts are the perfect place to start. They require no equipment, you can work out when- and wherever you want and still get a full-body workout. The exercises are scaled down to maximize the fun. 

Intermediate

Intermediate workouts are designed to get you going with more difficult variations. Many of these exercises recommend the use of dumbbells or hand weights. 

Advanced

Advanced workouts are designed by Carrie's trainer, Eve Overland, ideal for those that are already working out regularly or have progressed from intermediate workouts. 

Can I add workouts to my Path?

You can stay on your selected Path and complete other workouts on your own time. These include Stretch SessionsFlash FitFull, and Half workouts. 

Your Path will stay the same and an added workout actually adds to your progress and achievements. Many HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 enthusiasts add additional workouts when they have a chance. 

From the Workout tab, you will find a plethora of workout choices to suit your wants and needs.

How do I swap exercises to personalize my workout?

Before you begin a workout, you have the option to personalize your workout and include  more of the exercises you want. You have the option to either Swap or Always Remove an exercise from your current workout. When you Swap, you are simply swapping out the chosen exercise for another. When you Always Remove, this exercise will not show up in subsequent workouts unless you remove it from your list of Excluded Exercises (located in Workout Settings).

To Swap or Always Remove a Workout Exercise, on the workout start screen, press Personalize

Then press Reveal Workout

Select the exercise you wish to Swap / Always Remove

What is Carrie's Leg Workout?

We have an exciting new addition to HiNote Life - Powered by fit52, a workout that Carrie Underwood and Eve Overland have done for years, Carrie's leg workout! It has even been adapted for all fitness levels! 

This workout itself is a little different from regular HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 workouts, as it has sets and supersets.  This might be a new concept for some.

A Superset is when you do a series of exercises in a row. E.g. Deadlifts, then Squats, then Touchdowns. You then repeat the exercises multiple times, known as ‘Rounds’.  After you’ve completed the rounds, you then move onto the next Superset, with a new set of exercises you repeat.

Don’t worry there is a chance to rest in between.

How do I claim my free trial?

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 is free to download but ongoing use requires an active subscription, available on a monthlyquarterly or annual basis. Customers who choose a subscription are eligible for a free 7-day trial period.

At the expiry of the trial period, you are billed the amount of the subscription you chose at sign-up.

Thereafter, Annual subscriptions are billed every twelve (12) months, or Monthly subscribers each (1) month on the renewal date stated.

Payment will be charged to your credit card through your device's app store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period.

Subscriptions and auto-renewal status can be managed in Account Settings in the App Store and Play Store after purchase. Review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more information.

How do I learn more about my current subscription or upgrade/cancel?

To learn about your current subscription info, go to the Profile tab, press the Settings icon in the top right corner, then go to Subscription. Here, you can see information such as your Subscription StatusPlanBilling Cycle, and when your Next Renewal date is. You are also able to change your subscription via Manage Subscription.

Status - Either Active or Inactive. Indicates whether you have a current subscription on HiNote Life - Powered by fit52.

Plan - If you are subscribed, will say Premium Subscription, otherwise Not Subscribed.

Billing Cycle - Depending on your current subscription, your billing cycle will either be one of AnnualQuarterlyMonthly, or Not Subscribed.

Next Renewal - Date when your current plan will automatically renew. If you do not wish to renew, please ensure you cancel your plan prior to this date via either the App Store or Play Store.

At any time, you can cancel your HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 subscription but when you do so, you will still have access to your subscription until the day before renewal, after which your plan will not renew and your Status will become inactive.

Can I change my profile information?

You are able to change your profile information by going to Profile then Settings (gear icon in the top right corner). From here, you are able to change your Bio, Fitness LevelWorkout Time, Email, Password, and other such information.

I am trying to sign up but my email is already registered.

If the app is saying your email already exists, try going to the link that says LOG IN at the bottom of the first page. Once on the login page, put in your email and the password you may have received in an email. If you are still unable to login, try resetting your password by clicking the link to reset password. Check for the email and follow the prompts. I

Can I reset my password?

Yes! You have two options:

  1. Click Forgot your Password? on the Log In screen when you are logged out

  2. Go to Profile, Settings, click on User Account and Password. You will need to enter your old password in order to set a new one.
How much does HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 cost/price?

After the free trial, you have the option to pay for a monthly or annual subscription. During registration, you are able to choose which plan you prefer to join once your free trial is over. Here is a list of the costs related to each subscription:

  • Annually: US $79.99
  • Monthly: US $19.99 

All prices displayed in-app are converted to your local currency, unless otherwise indicated.

Subscriptions can be managed in-app via the Profile tab, pressing the Settings icon at the top right of the screen, Subscription, then Manage Subscription. You can also manage your subscriptions via the App Store or Play Store, depending on your device.

Can I get a refund for any unused portion?

HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 is free to download. Ongoing use requires an active subscription, available on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Anybody who decides to purchase a subscription are eligible for a free 7-day trial period.  Payment will be charged to your credit card through your device's application store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. Subscriptions can be managed and/or have auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings in your device's application store after purchase.

No partial refunds for unused portions will be given. If a subscription is cancelled prematurely, you will have access to your subscription until the original renewal date. Once this date is reached, your subscription will not renew.

How do I delete a HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 account?

If you no longer require your HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 account, you can follow these steps to delete your account. 

  1. Open the HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 app.
  2. Tap on Settings icon top right.
  3. Select Account
  4. Then select Delete My Account and tap OK on the warning message. 

NOTE: This does not cancel any active HiNote Life - Powered by fit52 subscriptions. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can do this by following the steps here

Managing Your Subscription

How do I log in to manage my HiNote Everyday Energy subscription?

Two easy ways: click the “Manage Subscription” link in any HiNote order email (it logs you in automatically), or visit hinote.com/account and enter your email — we’ll text or email you a one-time code. No password to memorize.

Can I change my flavor, quantity, or delivery frequency?

Yes — all three are easy. Log in to your Customer Portal, go to “Manage Subscriptions,” and click “Manage this subscription.” From there you can swap your flavor, adjust quantity, or change how often deliveries arrive. Changes made before your next renewal date apply to the upcoming order; changes made after apply to the order after that.

How do I update my shipping address or payment method?

Log in to your Customer Portal. Use the “Shipping” tab to add or edit a shipping address, and the “Payment Methods” tab to update your card. Update at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to be safe.

Can I have different subscriptions shipped to different addresses?

Yes. Each subscription can be tied to its own shipping address — great for sending HiNote to a parent, partner, or college kid. Set this up from the “Shipping” tab in the portal.

When is my card charged for a subscription order?

On your renewal date — every 4 weeks from the date of your most recent shipment. Your card is charged on the day your next order is processed for shipment, not the day it arrives. We’ll send a reminder email 3 days before so there are no surprises.

Will you remind me before each shipment?

Yes. We send a friendly heads-up email 3 days before every renewal so you have time to skip, swap, edit, or cancel before the order processes.

Skipping & Pausing

How do I pause, skip, or cancel a HiNote Everyday Energy subscription?

All three are quick from your HiNote Customer Portal. Log in via the “Manage Subscription” link in any HiNote email, or visit hinote.com/account and we’ll send a one-time login code.

  • To skip an upcoming order: Go to “View Upcoming Orders,” find the delivery you want to push, and click “Skip.”
  • To pause: Go to “Manage Subscriptions” → “Manage this subscription” → “Cancel Subscription,” and you’ll be offered a pause option. Pick how long you’d like to pause and we’ll automatically resume at the end of the window.
  • To cancel: Same path — “Manage Subscriptions” → “Manage this subscription” → “Cancel Subscription” → confirm.

How do I skip a delivery?

Log in to your Customer Portal, go to “View Upcoming Orders” (or your Delivery Schedule), find the order you want to skip, and click “Skip.” If you change your mind, click “Unskip” in the same place. Skipping pushes your next delivery ahead by one cycle.

Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?

Yes — pausing is a great option if you’re traveling, stocked up, or just need a breather. When you click “Cancel Subscription” in the portal, you’ll see a prompt offering to pause instead. Choose how long you’d like to pause, and we’ll automatically resume your subscription at the end of the pause window.

Can I resume a paused subscription early?

Of course. Log in to the Customer Portal, find your paused subscription under “Manage Subscriptions,” and click “Order Now” to resume immediately, or adjust the next order date.

Will I be charged while my subscription is paused?

No. While your subscription is paused, we don’t process any orders or charges.

Canceling

How do I cancel my subscription?

Two simple ways:

  • In the Customer Portal: Log in → Manage Subscriptions → Manage this subscription → Cancel Subscription → confirm.
  • By email: Send a note to hi@hinote.com from the email tied to your account, with “Cancel” in the subject line.

You’ll get a written confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.

Is there a fee or penalty for canceling?

Nope. No fees, no penalties, no minimum commitment. Cancel anytime.

Do I have to call or chat with someone to cancel?

Not at all. You signed up online, and you can cancel online — no phone calls, no live agents required. We believe canceling should be just as simple as starting.

When does my cancellation take effect?

Right away. Future shipments and charges stop as soon as your cancellation is processed. If your next order has already been processed for shipment when you cancel, that final order will still ship and be billed — but nothing after it will.

Can I cancel one subscription and keep another?

Yes. If you’re subscribed to more than one product, each subscription can be canceled independently from the Customer Portal.

If I cancel, can I still get a refund on my last order?

Yes — our money-back guarantee covers you for as long as you’re using the product. Email hi@hinote.com with your order number and a quick note about your experience and we’ll take care of it. Note: canceling alone does not automatically generate a refund — please let us know specifically that you’d like one.

What if I want to come back later?

We’d love to have you back. Log in to your Customer Portal, go to “Manage Subscriptions,” and click “Reactivate” on your previous subscription. You’ll resume at our standard 10% subscriber discount and free shipping. (First-order discounts are reserved for first-time subscribers only.)

Billing, Refunds & Issues

What payment methods do you accept (e.g. Apple Pay, Shop Pay, AfterPay, HSA/FSA)?

At checkout we accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. PayPal is available on one-time orders.

A few things to know about subscription orders specifically:

  • Buy now, pay later services like AfterPay, Klarna, and Affirm are available on one-time orders but aren’t supported on subscription orders — they’re built for single transactions and don’t accommodate recurring billing.
  • HSA/FSA cards aren’t currently accepted. If that changes, our subscriber community will hear about it first. HSA/FSA cards can be used for HiNote Life application subscriptions. Please email hi@hinote.com if you wish to pay for HiNote Life application with an HSA/FSA card.

What happens if my payment fails?

We’ll automatically retry the charge over the next several days and email you each time. If we still can’t process the payment, your subscription will pause until you update your billing details. No mystery shipments, no surprise charges.

Will my subscription price ever change?

If we ever need to adjust subscription pricing, we’ll notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, so you’ll have time to decide whether to continue, modify, or cancel.

How does the money-back guarantee work for subscription orders?

Same as our one-time orders. We stand behind our product 100%, for as long as you’re using it. If you’re ever not satisfied with a subscription shipment, email hi@hinote.com with your order number and a brief note about your experience. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with next steps. No need to send anything back.

My order arrived damaged or never arrived. What do I do?

So sorry about that. Email hi@hinote.com with your order number and a quick description (a photo helps if it’s damaged), and we’ll make it right — typically within 1–2 business days.

Do you ship subscriptions outside the U.S.?

Not yet — we currently ship only to U.S. addresses (and not to PO Boxes). Want us to come to your country next? Email hi@hinote.com and let us know where.

Can I use a discount code on my subscription?

Subscription discounts are already built in (15% or 25% off your first order, then 10% off every order after, plus free shipping and a free shaker). Promotional codes generally can’t be combined with subscriber discounts unless we say so during a specific promotion.

HiNote Life App Subscriptions

Is the HiNote Life app subscription the same as my HiNote Everyday Energy subscription?

No — they’re separate products with separate billing. Your HiNote Everyday Energy subscription is managed through hinote.com (powered by Recharge). Your HiNote Life app subscription is billed and managed by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Stripe Web Billing, depending on your device.

How do I cancel my HiNote Life app subscription?

On iPhone or iPad:

  • Open Settings → tap your name → tap Subscriptions
  • Select HiNote Life → tap Cancel Subscription

On Android:

  • Open the Google Play app → tap your profile icon
  • Tap Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → HiNote Life → Cancel Subscription

In the HiNote Life app:

  • Open the HiNote Life app → tap Profile icon in bottom left corner
  • Tap Settings icon top right corner 
  • Tap Subscription → Change or Cancel Subscription

Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, after which the subscription will not renew.

Can I get a refund for the HiNote Life app?

App refunds are processed by Apple or Google, not by HiNote. Submit refund requests through the App Store (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com/store/account). We’re happy to help you walk through it — email hi@hinote.com.

Does canceling my HiNote Life app subscription cancel my HiNote Everyday Energy subscription?

No. They’re separate. Canceling one doesn’t cancel the other. Manage your HiNote Everyday Energy  subscription at hinote.com/account.
