We had planned a special HiNote pop-up at the 12 South Farmers Market in Nashville with a surprise visit from Carrie, but the weather had other ideas. On the day, the storm clouds rolled in, and it became clear that this wasn't going to be the picture-perfect event we had imagined.
But canceling was never really on the table.
Because for Carrie, HiNote isn't just a product with her name on it. It's something she genuinely believes in.
From the very beginning, Carrie has been deeply involved in bringing HiNote to life—from helping shape the product itself to sharing her own wellness journey and the habits that help her feel her best. HiNote reflects so much of what she values: balanced nutrition, sustained energy, and making healthy choices feel approachable and achievable.
So when there was an opportunity to surprise people with an unexpected visit to share something she is passionate about, a little bit – or a LOT – of rain wasn't going to dampen her spirits.
Armed with umbrellas and a sunny attitude, Carrie headed to the farmers market to meet fans and new friends, connect with her local community, and share the product she loves.
And that's exactly what happened when Carrie appeared, thrilling unsuspecting shoppers and vendors alike.
What could have been a rainy, forgettable day became something memorable.
Not because the weather changed.
Because Carrie showed up.
We often talk about resilience as something reserved for life's biggest challenges. But sometimes resilience looks a lot simpler. Sometimes it's choosing to follow through on a commitment. Sometimes it's showing up when conditions aren't ideal. Sometimes it's believing strongly enough in something that you're willing to get a little uncomfortable for it.
For Carrie, it wasn't about staging a perfect event. It was about creating a meaningful experience. It was about meeting people where they were, sharing something she believes in, and making sure that a little rain didn't stand between HiNote and the people who support it.
In many ways, that's what HiNote is all about.
It's not about perfection. It's about consistency. It's about finding simple ways to take care of yourself, even when life gets busy, messy, or unpredictable. It's about showing up for yourself day after day, one small choice at a time.
Rain or shine.
We're grateful to everyone who happened to be at the market that day, but we're especially grateful for a founder who leads by example.
Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for yourself and the people in your life is to simply show up.
